!! Limit{{~ /}}disable visible */Notes and Highlights/*
*Note:* the impact of the new Notes tool is unknown.
Processing large Note files (documents) in order to display your Notes and Highlights could impact the load time of Logos, especially if each one is used in several resources. There can be a similar impact from using a very large number of small files.
Changes can be affected via the [[Notes and Highlights VF >> Visual Filter Menu # Notes and Highlights]]. But you might also turn Off note files under [[Corresponding Notes and Highlights >> Visual Filter Menu # Corresponding Notes and Highlights]].

!! Keep Note & Clipping files you are not using closed
If you keep note files that you are not using closedthis may help speed up Logos, especially if the Note/Clipping file is large. You could also have the [[Visual Filter >> visual filter menu # Notes section]] for notes turned On in your resources and when you hover over a note marker in your resource if you need more information then you could click on the marker to have Logos open that note.

!! Improving Guides speed
* You can create a [[Custom Guide >> CustomizingthePassageandExegeticalGuides]] with fewer sections in the guide.
* You can create a [[Custom Guide >> Guides#GuideEditor]] with fewer sections in the guide.
* Remove sections which require Internet access e.g. SermonAudio.com, SermonCentral.com.
* If you use a narrower verse range in the /Range/ box the guides will perform faster.
