!! Is there a way to Tag multiple books at the same time?

Open your Library using the Book icon in the top menu bar (a floating window is best). Ensure the Info pane is turned on (click the *i* with a circle around it).

You can do this in Library, with the Info pane open.

#. Click on a book that you want selected.

Start by filtering Library for the category of books you want to tag e.g. *title:study*

#. Click on a book that you want selected.  \\ \\  {{$ media:TaggingLibrary2.jpg?maxwidth=650 }} \\ \\

#. Then move to the last book that you want selected. Hold the *shift* key down and click on the last book.

#. Now if there is a book that you do not want selected, move the mouse over that book, hold the *Ctrl* key down and click.\\\\{{$media:TaggingLibrary2.jpg?maxwidth=650}}\\\\

#. Now if there is a book that you do not want selected, move the mouse over that book, hold the *Ctrl* key down and click.

  * this would be the best place to open the Info pane.

#. In the Info pane, click on /Add tag/ and enter the name for your Tag. \\ /You will get suggestions as you type so that you can apply an existing tag without typos./

#. Or, you can click on *Clear tags* (under *Advanced*) to remove ALL tags for these books.

#. Alternatively, you could click on *Clear tags* (under *Advanced*) to remove ALL tags for these books.
