!! How to get an answer — without even asking!
Before you ask for help:
Search the forums to see if your question has already been answered. Unfortunately, the "Search this site" box doesn't work too well, so you'll need to use Google. Search for *site:community.logos.com searchterms*, or just [[click this link >> https://www.google.com/#q=site:community.logos.com]] then add your search terms at the end of the search box.
* Please check [[this Wiki >> http://wiki.logos.com/]] to see if your question has already been answered.

If you can't find the answer to your question, go ahead and ask, by [[creating a new thread >> # How to create a discussion thread]].

If your question is a "How do I....?" question, please let us know clearly what you're trying to do, and perhaps give us an example.
If your question is about something going wrong (e.g. a crash, an error message, Logos being very slow, or search results are wrong, etc.), then we willneed to [[see your logs >> # How to upload logs]]beforewecanhelp.Logoshasanoptionalfeaturewherebyitrecordseverythingthathappensinalogfile.Thatallowsustoseeexactlywhatiscausingtheproblem.It also helps if we know a little bit about your computer (particularly your Operating System and how much RAM (memory) your computer has).
If your question is about something going wrong (e.g. a crash, an error message, Logos being very slow, or search results are wrong, etc.), then we usuallywant to [[see some logs >> # How to upload logs]] fromthedesktopandmobileapplicationsbeforewecanhelp. It also helps if we know a little bit about your computer (particularly your Operating System and how much RAM (memory) your computer has).
Make sure you have a clearly worded subject. "Logos sucks!" is a bad subject, and will likely get you lots of replies telling you that Logos doesn't suck. "Logos crashes every time I open it" is a good subject, and will get you replies helping you to solve the problem.
!! How to create a discussion thread
* Go to the [[Logos forums >> http://community.logos.com/forums/]] page.
* The [[General >> https://community.logos.com/forums/77.aspx]] forum is for non-technical questions about the *desktop* application e.g. books to get for your Library, "how do I access~/get /this/ feature?"
* Mac and PC users share the same forum for technical questions/issues on the *desktop* application, and this is dependent on the version you have e.g. *Logos 8*, *Logos 7*, etc.
* If using a *mobile app*, go to the relevant *Mobile* forum. Android and iOS users share the same forum.
* If using the *Web app*, go to the relevant *Web* forum.
* If using *Biblia.com*, go to the *Biblia* forum.
* Select the forum
* Click on "Write a New Post"

Finally, be nice to us! Computers can be frustrating, but that's almost certainly not the fault of the person who will be trying to help you. "Please" and "thank you" go a long way.
You can track your contributions/questions via [[My Discussions >> https://community.logos.com/forums/MyForums.aspx]].
