* Open the *Layouts* menu.

* Click on *Quickstart Layouts* or *Home Page Layouts*.

* Show the layouts under *Quickstart Layouts* or *Home Page Layouts*.
* If a layout indicates /Custom/, it has been changed *for use from the Home Page or the GO Box*.
* If a layout indicates /Custom/ you can click the down arrow and select "Restore default layout".
#. Make any changes you want.
* Click on the desired layout.

* Logos will open a /standard/ layout for your study.

If you then make changes and want to save the (custom) layout, click the down arrow and select "Replace with current layout".
If you (also) want to change any of these layouts *for use from the Home Page or the GO Box*:
Thereafter, the appropriate layout will open from the Home Page when you click a Bible Reading Plan, Lectionary, etc., or make an entry in the GO box.
* Hover over the layout name, click the down arrow and select "Replace with current layout".
* you can undo this with "Restore default layout".
But, if your want to /continue/ your study with this, or any other new layout, then you should [[name your layout >> # How do you save your current Layout?]] and also [[have it show when you restart Logos >> # How do I get a layout to show when I open Logos?]], below.
Thereafter, the appropriate layout will open from the Home Page when you click a Bible Reading Plan, Lectionary, etc., or make an entry in the GO box e.g a bible reference or a topic.

* *Most recent layout - local* to load your automatically saved layout. \\ This is the most efficient way to ensure continuity.
* *Most recent layout - any* to load your automatically saved layout when it is shared between different installations.
* A */Named layout/* to load a specific version of your layout i.e. one that *you* saved.
* A */Named/* layout to load a specific version of your layout i.e. one that *you* saved.
* Note that *Home* will load the Home Page.
If Logos opened to the Home page, you can access a/Saved/layout from the Layouts menu. Otherwise, you might have to recreate your layout (click the Home button to take you to the layout window).
