!!!! How do I hide the lectionary, reading plan, etc. from the Home Page?

From Logos 8on, click the menu on the relevant /Card/ to remove it from the Dashboard. With earlier versions, click the *Customize* button and uncheck the relevant item.

!!!! Is there a way to set the home page layout to be a preferred study layout or to set Logos to open to a preferred layout?

Note that a 'Home Page' layout is associated with use of the GO Box, but the GO Box is no longer exclusive to the Home Page after Logos 8. But you can still [[choose a Home Page layout >> Layouts # Layout Management]] as a preferred layout and customize it.

With *Logos 8+* ensure "Excerpts" is selected in the *Explore* menu, \\ else "Excerpt" must be selected in the *Customize* menu of earlier versions.

Also, Logos only shows excerpts that come from resources on your device.

*Logos 8* does not show resource excerpts on the Home Page!

In earlier versions, Logos only shows excerpts that meet the following conditions:

* come from resources which you have in your library; and

* have not been shown in the last 60 days.

Depending on the size of your library, it could be possible that all of them have been shown within the last 60 days. If you want to refresh your home page content, use Shift+F5 (adding the Shift key will erase the history of used content).
