To erase highlighting, select the highlighted text and click *Erase* (on the upper right of the Highlighting panel).
 
Or right click ona part of the highlighted text, click "Selection" on the right-hand side of the Context menu and then click *Removeannotations* on the left-hand side.
Or right click on part of the highlighted text, click "Selection" on the shaded side of the Context menu and then click *DeleteNotesandHighlights* on the other side(/usedtobe"Removeannotations"/).
 
Or select the highlighted text and press the keyboard combination *Ctrl+Shift+K* (Mac users: *Shift+Cmd+K*).
 
* Assume you have been working on scripture and adding highlights. Then, by mistake, you have a large area of text selected, and you inadvertantly highlight in a different color!  \\     [[{{$ http://wiki.logos.com/media/2.jpg?maxwidth=600 }} >> http://wiki.logos.com/media/2.jpg]] \\ \\
* No worries, just right click on any word/character in the area incorrectly highlighted, as long as the word is not part of any highlighting that you want to retain. \\ Click "Selection" in the right-handcolumn of the Context menu, and click on*Removeannotations* in the left-handcolumn (/used to be "Remove highlighting"/).\\\\{{$media:Highlighting3.jpg}}\\\\
* No worries, just right click on any word in the area incorrectly highlighted, as long as the word is not part of any highlighting that you want to retain. \\ Click "Selection" on the shadedside of the Context menu, and click*DeleteNotesandHighlights* on the otherside (/used to be "Remove annotations"/).
* After that your highlighting is restored to its prior state.
