You could significantly improve your load times by *not* using the *~** (asterisk) wildcard character to search for anything, and by limiting the number of resources that you apply to /each filter/.

You could reduce the number of resources that you have open for similar types e.g. Commentaries, Lexicons, Dictionaries. Then when you want to view another resource of that similar type you can use the [[Parallel Resources]] menu icon to allow you to view another resource of this type in the same taboryourpanel.Thenwhenyouaredoneviewingthatyoucanusethe/Back/arrowtoreturnyoutoyourresource.

#. Open your favorite resource for each type e.g. a commentary, a dictionary and a lexicon.
#. Click on the Parallel Resource icon in the toolbar.
#. Open [[Parallel Resource menu >> https://wiki.logos.com/Parallel_Resources#How_to_I_open_Parallel_Resources.3f]] in the toolbar.
#. In the drop down menu click on the similar resource that you want to view.
#. When are done viewing that resource and want to return to your favorite which you had open, click on the /back arrow/.
#. Click on the /Back arrow/ to return.

!! Keep Note & Clipping files you are not using closed
If you close note files (documents) that you are not using this may help speed up Logos, especially if the Note/Clipping file is large. You could also have the [[Visual Filter >> visual filter menu # Notes section]] for notes turned On in your resources and when you hover over a note marker in your resource if you need more information then you could click on the marker to have Logos open that note.
Close tabs for Notes/Notebooks and Clippings that you are not using as this may help speed up Logos, especially if you have several thousand individual Notes or Clipping docs.
