* Bookmarks are as they suggest, they mark where you were reading in one of your books.
* Logos provides up to 9 bookmarks.

!! How do I set a bookmark?
* You will need to open the book in which you want to bookmark.
* Next you will need to place your reading position so that it appears at the top of your panel.(e.g. ESV Bible was opened with Luke 2:1 at the top of the pane)

!! How do I open a book using a Bookmark?
* Click on a bookmark to open it into your work area. (if bookmarks tool is not visible, see [[How do I view the Bookmarks tool? >> # How do I view the Bookmarks tool?]] ) If the book is not already visible in a Tab in your work area, then Logos will open that book in a Tab associated with that type of book.
* Click on a bookmark to open it into your layout. \\ If the book is not open, then Logos will open a copy. \\ \\ {{$ media:Bookmarks2a.jpg }} \\ \\
* Or you can right click on the bookmark and a pop-up menu will appear which allows you to *Open in a new tab* or *Open in a floating window*.\\\\{{$media:Bookmarks2a.jpg}}\\\\
