!! If you get behind
!! Adjusting the Plan
Logos provides 2 methods to help you get your Reading Plan back on track.
Logos provides several methods to help you get your Reading Plan back on track.
#. If you catch up on your reading and want to mark multiple sections as read, then see [[Catch up to here >> # Catch up to here]]. This also allows you to mark future days that you have read ahead.
* You can mark sessions as unread if you accidentally marked them as *Done*.
#. If you want Logos to adjust your Reading plan from the day you are behind to today (or a day in the future) and push out the completion date, then see [[Adjust plan from here >> # Adjust plan from here]]. This also works if you want to push your current reading forward. \\ \\
* If you are behind with your reading you can [[catch up >> # Catch up to here]] by marking multiple sessions as read.
!!! _Catch up to here_
* You can [[adjust your Reading Plan >> # Adjust plan from here]] from the time you are behind by /rescheduling/ those sessions (thus pushing out the completion date). This also works if you want to push your current reading forward.
/Catch up to here/ allows you to mark one or more days as Done. You might have caught up on your reading for these days or you might be going to skip these days reading. The example below shows how this works. \\ \\
[[{{$ http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4f.png?maxwidth=600 }} >> http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4f.png]] \\ \\
\\
#. Notice that Logos is signaling that we are behind in the upper right corner. Also notice that I am behind 3 days in my reading.
!!! _Marking a day as Unread_
#. In this example we will /Catch up to/ this point. \\ We could have even /Catch up to/ Today or to a future date. But this example does not show this. \\ \\ [[{{$ http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4g.png?maxwidth=600 }} >> http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4g.png]] \\ \\
At some point you accidentally marked some sessions as read (*Done*). You can correct that in your Reading Plan:
#. Right click in the date box that we want to /Catch up to/.
* Logos will show a pop-up menu, click on *Catch up to here*. \\ \\ [[{{$ http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4h.png?maxwidth=600 }} >> http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4h.png]] \\ \\
#. Notice that Logos marked our days that we were behind as read (green check mark).
* Also notice that the Behind banner is gone from our Reading Plan.
\\ \\
#. In /List/ view, right click a session that you want to mark as unread.
!!!! Marking a day as Unread
#. In the pop-up menu click on *Mark as unread*.
At some point you accidentally mark a days reading as read (Done). You can correct that day in your Reading Plan in the editor.
#. Repeat for any other sessions.
[[{{$ http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4i.png?maxwidth=600 }} >> http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4i.png]] \\ \\
#. Right click in the day box that you want to mark as unread.
#. In the pop-up menu click on *Mark as unread*. \\ \\ [[{{$ http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4j.png?maxwidth=600 }} >> http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4j.png]] \\ \\
#. Notice that Logos removed the green check mark. The day is now ready to be read.
\\ \\
!!! _Adjustplanfrom here_
!!! _Catchupto here_
This will allow you to slide days that you are behind and move them (and the rest of your Reading Plan) to Today or a day in the future. \\ This will not allow you to read ahead and move future readings to start later than scheduled.
/Catch up to here/ allows you to mark one or more days as *Done*. You might have caught up on your reading for these sessions (independent of the Plan) or you might want to skip these sessions. The example below shows how this works.
\\
#. Open your Plan in /List/ view \\ \\ {{$@img-fluid amber:11165800:46259354}} \\ \\
[[{{$ http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4c.png?maxwidth=600 }} >> http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4c.png]] \\ \\
#. Right click on the session, and click *Catch up to here* in the pop-up menu.
#. Notice that Logos is signaling that we are behind in our reading.
* Now we have /caught up/ to a day in the future.
#. These were days that we kept up in our reading.
#. These are days that we are behind in our reading (notice the 1st scripture reference and note it for later)
#. This is today's reading.
#. We want to adjust our Reading Plan to this date in the future, where we want to resume our reading. \\ \\ [[{{$ http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4d.png?maxwidth=600 }} >> http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4d.png]] \\ \\
* To adjust to our future date, right click on Jan 7 box.
* In the pop-up menu click on *Adjust plan from here*. \\ \\ [[{{$ http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4e.png?maxwidth=600 }} >> http://wiki.logos.com/media/ReadinPlanBasics4e.png]] \\ \\
#. Now notice that Logos shifted our late reading (Gen 12-18 and others) to our future date. \\ If you were to get to the Finish date, you would notice that it is pushed further out to accommodate our adjustment.
You do not have to be behind to push your reading forward. Perhaps you are going to be on vacation (or whatever) and will not be able to read in your Reading Plan. You could move your reading plan forward to when you return using this method. But what you _cannot_ do is read ahead and try to move your Reading Plan backwards.
* All days we were behind + any future days are marked as *Done* (with a green check mark), and the red /Behind/ banner has gone from the Reading Plan.
\\ \\
!!! _Adjust plan from here_
This will allow you to slide sessions where you are /behind/ and move them (and the rest of your Reading Plan) to /Today/ or a day in the future. \\ This will not allow you to move future readings to start later than scheduled.
\\ \\
#. Open your Plan in /List/ view \\ \\ {{$@img-fluid amber:11165800:46259354}} \\
!! Editing a Reading Plan
#. We want to adjust our Reading Plan to *Tomoprrow*, a date in the future, where we want to resume our reading.
*Warning:* editing a Reading Plan you have already commenced will start the Reading Plan over. So all the places that you have marked as read will be cleared.
* Right click on the session, and click *Adjust plan from here* in the pop-up menu. \\ \\ {{$@img-fluid amber:11165835:46259558}} \\ \\
* Now notice that the four late sessions (from Num 2) have been pushed out to the future date of *Tomorrow*. \\ The Finish date would be pushed out by 5 days to accommodate this adjustment.
#. In the top menu click on *Documents*.
You do not have to be behind to push your reading forward. If you are going away and will not be able to read your Reading Plan, you could adjust it to the date of your return.
#. Locate your Reading Plan and click on it.
* the Reading Plan is opened in a floating window.
#. Click the *Edit* button to start.
#. See [[Setting up a Reading Plan >> # Setting up a Reading Plan]] if you are not familiar with the editor.
#. Click *Done* when you have finished.
!!!! _Editing a Shared Reading Plan_
"Plans collaborated with a group will no longer be editable except for Bible version used." (Logos Help)

However, you can start a new Reading Plan document, and, from the _Add_ menu choose "Add readings from ... Another Reading Plan."
