Quick Installation onto multiple computers

!! Before you Start

Set *Folder Options* in Control Panel to enable viewing of hidden files and folders.

Do not use Admin elevation ("Run as administrator") /anywhere/.

You must select a *Custom* installation in order to avoid an automatic download of resources.

The new installation cannot be a version /older/ than your working installation.

This method saves resource downloading and indexing but gets installation files from Logos servers.

*NOTE* the Logos 5 folder name can be \Logos4 /or/ \Logos5

*NOTE* the Logos 5 folder name can be \Logos4 /or/ \Logos5.

#. Backup the ...\Logos4 folder from a *working* installation to an external drive

#. Install Logos 5 from [[LogosSetup >> http://downloads.logos.com/LBS5/Installer/LogosSetup.exe]] (or Logos 4 from [[Logos4Setup >> http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/Installer/Logos4Setup.exe]])

This method involves Indexing whilst avoiding the resource download.

Upon completion you must allow time for documents to sync.
