!! What do I do with the logs?
You will find the log files in a folder called %Logos Log Files% or %Verbum Log Files% inside your %Documents% folder. \\ Mostoften you willbeaskedto [[*upload the logs* >> Uploading Logs]] to the Forum butalsotrytoincludethesortofinformationcontainedina[[BugReport]].

Note that the main activity logs (Logos.log/Verbum.log, LogosIndexer.log/VerbumIndexer.log) are overwritten each time you start Logos, \\ so it's best to rename or upload them *before* you start Logos again. You should compress (zip) the log files before you upload them as they can be very large.

#. In Windows 7/8/10: \\ Right-click the folder, choose *Send to*, then *Compressed (zipped) folder*. \\ A new file will be created and named with the .zip extension. You can rename the file if necessary but keep the .zip extension.

#. In Windows Vista: \\ Right-click the folder, choose *Add to archive...*. Under *Archive Format* select ZIP, then click OK.
#. Select the requested log files: \\ To select multiple files, click to select the first one, then hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on subsequent files. \\ If there is any doubt about the files you need then zip the appropriate %Log Files% folder.
