A diagnostic log is a detailed report of what the Logos program is doing and it is used to diagnose problems. When you are requested to submit logs you need to enable logging. When finished you can continue logging or disable logging as shown below. [[Screenshot]] can be helpful to show issue(s) in diagnostic logs.

!! How do I get a diagnostic log?
To enable logging download [[EnableLogging.js >> http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/Installer/EnableLogging.js]] by right-clicking the link, choose "Save Link As..." or "Save Target As..." and Save it in your *Documents* folder. \\ Double-click EnableLogging.js and it should display a dialog box stating that logging has been enabled. \\ Then start Logos, and try to reproduce the problem you encountered earlier.

#. In Windows 7/8/10: \\ Right-click the folder, choose *Send to*, then *Compressed (zipped) folder*. \\ A new file will be created and named with the .zip extension. You can rename the file if necessary but keep the .zip extension.
#. In Windows Vista: \\ Right-click the folder, choose *Add to archive...*. Under *Archive Format* select ZIP, then click OK.
