Customizing the Bible Word Study Guide

 

#. Click on *Guides* in the top menu.

#. Click on *New* > *Make a new Guide* \\ /This opens the Guide Editor/. \\ In /Logos 8+/, the editor is similar to that shown below, and the guide is saved under *Custom Guides* in the menu.   \\ \\ [[{{$ http://wiki.logos.com/media/CustBWS1b.png?maxheight=300 }} >> http://wiki.logos.com/media/CustBWS1b.png]] \\ \\

#. Click on *New* > *Make a new Guide* \\ /This opens the Guide Editor/.

#. In the Guide Editor, click on *Bible word* in order to populate sections for the BWS guide. \\ \\ [[{{$ http://wiki.logos.com/media/CustBWS1c.png?maxheight=300 }} >> http://wiki.logos.com/media/CustBWS1c.png]] \\ \\

#. Click on the pencil icon (on in the title box) to name your custom guide.

#. Select *Bible word* as the /Kind/ in order to get sections for the BWS.

#. Click *Untitled Guide* to name your custom guide (see below).

  * The guide is saved under *Custom Guides* in the menu.

#. See [[Using the Guide Editor >> # Using the Guide Editor]] below to edit your new custom guide.

#. Locate the custom BWS guide that you want to edit

#. Right-click it; and

#. Select *Edit* \\ \\ /The Guide Editor will open in a new tab/ \\ \\ {{$ media:CustBWS2c.jpg }} \\ \\

#. If you want to change the guide's name, click in the title box.

#. If you want to change the guide's name, click on the pencil icon, or in the title box.

#. If you click on *Bible Word Study* in the /All Sections from.../ list \\ Logos will populate all the sections into the area on the opposite side.

#. If you click on the *X* in the section header, Logos will remove that section. \\ You can always add it back by clicking the same section in the /Individual Sections/ list

 * it will be added at the bottom and you can relocate it by dragging.

#. Notice that some sections allow you to further customize them. \\ Make selections to suit the purpose of your guide.

#. You can add sections from the /Individual Sections/ list

#. You can add sections from the /Individual Sections/ list \\ and the order that you click on them will be the order that they appear in the guide.

 * Sections that can be repeated will remain in *bold* type.

 * Customize them appropriately e.g. for different bibles

#. To change the position of a section use your mouse to /drag/ its header to the new location. \\ /Logos displays a horizontal bar to indicate the new location/.
