* If you create a /favorite/ for the website, you should be able to drag it from a menu or a favorites bar.
\\ \\\\
\\ \\
!!! Creating a Shortcut to a named Layout
* You can create /Shortcuts/ to named Logos Layouts \\ (see the wiki [[Layouts >> Layouts]] page to learn how to save a named layout):
#. Open the /Layouts/ menu.
#. On the left side, under *Saved Layouts*, drag a named layout to the /shortcuts/ toolbar.
#. If you click on the new /shortcut/ Logos will open that Layout.
* Note that the shortcut is not affected by /saving/ the layout.
\\ \\
!!! Creating a Shortcut to anInternetLinkusingInternetExplorer
!!! Creating a Shortcut to LogosTools
* Creating a /Shortcut/ using Windows Internet Explorer is not quite as easy as using FireFox.
* You can create shortcuts to Logos' /tools/:
* There are 2 methods for doing this with IE. We will cover my preferred method here.
#. Open the *Tools* menu.
* This method we will create a new quick Favorite in IE on its Favorite bar, then we will delete it when done.
#. Locate the tool and drag it to the /shortcuts/ toolbar.
#. Open IE and navigate to the website that you want to create a /Shortcut/ to.
#. If you click on the new shortcut Logos will open that tool.
#. On IE's Favorite bar there is an icon of a gold star. Click on this star. \\ \\ {{$ media:Shortcut3a.png }} \\ \\
#. IE creates a new Favorite just to the right of the gold star icon on the favorite bar (as shown below). \\ \\ {{$ media:Shortcut3b.png }} \\ \\
* Now we will use this new favorite to add it to Logos toolbar.
#. Now with Logos showing behind IE and Logos' toolbar visible, click on IE's new favorite, drag it to the Logos toolbar (to a blank area) and drop it there. \\ \\ {{$ media:Shortcut3e.png }} \\ \\
#. Now you will see the new /Shortcut/ on Logos' toolbar as shown below. \\ If you click on the /Shortcut/ it will open IE to the website that you linked to (providing that IE is your default browser). \\ \\ {{$ media:Shortcut2b.png }} \\ \\
* Now we will delete the new favorite that we created in IE (since we don't need it any more and want to keep IE's favorite bar uncluttered).
#. Now in IE, _right_ click on the new favorite that you added earlier.
#. In the pop-up menu, click on *Delete*. (make sure that you are on the new favorite!) \\ \\ {{$ media:Shortcut3d.png }} \\ \\
\\ \\ \\
!!! Creating a Shortcut to a named Layout
\\ \\
* You can create /Shortcuts/ to named Logos Layouts.

#. In the drop down menu on the left side (Named Layouts), find the named layout that you want to create a /Shortcut/ to. Then click and drag that named layout to the Logos toolbar (in a blank area) and drop it there. \\ \\ {{$ media:Shortcut5a.png }} \\ \\
#. Now you will see your new /Shortcut/ in the Logos toolbar.
#. If you hover your mouse over the new /Shortcut/, Logos will display a large icon of the Layout. \\ \\ {{$ media:Shortcut5b.png }} \\ \\
#. If you click on the new /Shortcut/ Logos will open that Layout.
